This one-hour webinar will discuss recent developments primarily related to DCAA audits of contractor incurred direct and indirect costs.   The discussion will draw from DCAA audit policies, DCAA audits (draft reports), and contract disputes.

At the completion of this one hour seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the FAR clauses which i) require and define a final indirect cost rate proposal and ii) define contractor responsibilities after the final rate agreement letter
  • Identify and obtain DCAA audit checklists, policies and programs relevant to incurred cost audits
  • Obtain FAR Part 31 Cost Principles applicable to a specific (fiscal year) contractor final indirect cost rate proposal

During the seminar, your faculty will share their knowledge of current and developing trends which continue to redefine cost recovery risk associated with after-the-fact incurred cost audits.   Applicable to ICPs (Indirect Cost (Rate) Proposals), the topics include new challenges to ICP adequacy, new and old cost allowability issues, the good and the bad of final rate agreement letters, and the ever expanding use of commercial IPAs (Independent Public Accountants) by civilian agencies (e.g. DOE, DHHS and soon-to-include NASA).
