New Hire - Rachel Smith - Redstone GCI

Redstone Government Consulting is pleased to announce that Rachel Smith has joined our team as our new Director of Client Relations. Rachel has over 15 years of experience supporting business-to-business marketing in the North Alabama area, emphasizing the government contracting industry.

For the past ten years, our firm has grown from a small core group of 6 to 34 employees and supports over 1,000 companies domestically and internationally with project-based DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) compliance, DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) compliance, HR (Human Resources) & Employment Law, Contracts & Procurement, Proposal Pricing, Organizational Strategy, and many other areas. Additionally, we offer full outsourced collaborative accounting, human resources, compensation planning, and contracts/subcontracts management. Redstone will launch the first learning management system (LMS) courses this fall. The LMS project began development in 2021 and has been in beta testing for 2022 with over 1,000 client enrollees so far, and this fall, we are excited to be able to offer it to our entire client base.

With this growth, we are excited to have Rachel joining our team to support our existing client relationship process. Rachel’s role will enhance the current level of service provided to our clients, and she will be a constant to our clients from initial outreach through project completion. In her role, Rachel will serve as a centralized point of contact in addition to the technical representatives assigned to projects to enhance client feedback and our commitment to continuous improvement.

Additionally, she will lead the roll out of our learning management system offerings and work with clients and our internal training administration team to deliver courses via SCORM format for those companies with an existing LMS or work to enroll clients without an LMS on the Redstone GCI LMS platform. As if that’s not enough, Rachel is a consummate networker and involved in over ten local not-for-profit and industry professional organizations and will be responsible for our community outreach and networking efforts. In this role, she will be heavily involved in the planning and successful execution of our annual Redstone Edge Conference and other training and networking events supported by our team.
