Redstone Government Consulting (Redstone GCI) is excited to announce the addition of Simon Lindley to our team of expert consultants. Simon is joining the Redstone GCI team after spending over a decade in industry where he worked with a diverse range of government contractors as an IT Director, Software Developer and Database Administrator. During his career Simon supported initiatives around Deltek Costpoint, including database administration, extensibility initiatives, third-party application connections and custom reporting. Additionally, Simon has spearheaded a variety of other IT development initiatives utilizing a wide range of software languages and web-based application development. Finally, at the heart of all Simon has done throughout his career, the single common thread has been application and data security. Simon has extensive experience in NIST 800-171, DFARS CMMC requirements, and other critical information security requirements for those that operate in our unique industry.
Simon’s addition to our team represents a recognition by our firm of the technological challenges our clients are currently facing, and will continue to face, in the coming years and the first step in building out a new practice area to better support our clients going forward. Simon’s role will be an innovation catalyst to support initiatives both within Redstone GCI and for our clients. It will not be uncommon for our clients to see Simon involved with projects that span all our service offerings. Within our core compliance areas, both HR and Accounting/Regulatory compliance, Simon will be leading initiatives supporting automation of our risk assessments, mock audit services and development of a formal web-based learning management system. We fully expect to leverage Simon’s cybersecurity background to not only further enhance our own infrastructure, but to also support our clients going forward with challenges within the cybersecurity areas. Further, we expect Simon will play a role within both Unanet and Deltek Costpoint projects, leveraging his extensibility, database administration/migration and other experience. Simon is a welcomed addition to our team and will be a huge asset to our Government Contracting clients as well as to the enhancement of Redstone GCI’s future initiatives.
