Carol Hedden
Managing Consultant
Carol Hedden is a Managing Consultant with Redstone Government Consulting, Inc., specializing in subcontract management with an emphasis on assisting small businesses. Carol brings over 20 years of experience working with both small and large contractors, assisting with contractor purchasing system review (CPSR) file documentation, proposal support, negotiation, and contract execution.
Professional Experience
Carol began her career with a small 8(a) company as contract and project management support for sole source and set aside awards, attended industry days, and implemented human resources functions during the company’s growth. Most of her experience was spent with a large multinational corporation working in the following areas: subcontract management of FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 12 contracts, negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements, proposal support, file compliance, developing and training subcontractors on company processes.
In addition to general subcontract management, Carol is a certified Supplier Diversity Specialist and has experience writing Small Business Participation Plans and Small Business Subcontracting Plans in support of proposals. More recent experience as the subcontract manager for a Joint Venture Mentor Protégé award provides Carol with a wide range of experience with the ability to provide best practice advice to our clients.
