His expertise extends to financial analysis, cost accounting, and audit support, making him an essential resource for contractors throughout the contract lifecycle.

Professional Experience

David’s career began at a local CPA firm, where he worked as an associate in the accounting services group. His early experience provided him with a solid foundation in accounting, which he later leveraged to specialize in program control and pricing within the government contracting sector.

Over the past seven years, David has honed his skills in various roles across the industry. As a Program Control Manager, he led the training and development of a new program control department, implemented critical review processes, and oversaw budget and forecasting efforts. His role involved regular analysis of project performance, unbilled costs, and invoice preparation, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Prior to his management role, David served as a Program Control Analyst, where he was responsible for labor tracking on large-scale government programs, preparing cost reports, and managing pricing proposals. His ability to maintain budgets and evaluate project status in collaboration with Program Managers has been a key factor in his success.

David’s experience also includes roles in financial and pricing strategies, where he conducted cost/price analysis and developed pricing models. His analytical skills and attention to detail have been instrumental in driving the financial success of the programs he has supported.
