Jarine is a Consultant with Redstone Government Consulting, Inc. based in our firm’s Huntsville office. Jarine’s role includes assistance with monthly accounting outsourcing, process and procedure improvement for small and growing government contractor clients, as well as providing consulting assistance for DCAA/DCMA mock audits and other areas of compliance assistance. She is an accounting and finance professional with more than 25 years of progressive experience with a proven performance record. Jarine has core knowledge in all areas of functional accounting operations, revenue recognition, financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, analysis and reporting. She is a logical thinker with strong work ethic and the ability to task organize in order to successfully complete complex projects. She possesses good communication skills and the ability to motivate others while building highly effective teams and relationships. Her primary strengths include excellent leadership, interpersonal, analytical, research, process building, and problem-solving skills. Jarine has functional experience with Deltek’s Costpoint Systems, QuickBooks, ADP Payroll Software, JAMIS, Unanet and other government contractor accounting systems, as well as DCAA Accounting Systems Requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Professional Experience

Jarine began her career as an accounting clerk with progression in to roles within internal audit and accounting leadership positions for a large privately-held regional company in the ice, oil and gas industry. Her dedication to process improvement over her more than 15-year tenure with the organization was well-respected and resulted in numerous process and quality improvements in the accounting and finance areas. Over the next ten years, she worked for two local prime contractors in Huntsville operating within the software and defense industries. In her tenure with these organizations, Jarine held a variety of roles throughout the accounting organization dealing with AP, AR, treasury, invoicing, collections and other areas which provided a broad base of experience dealing with government contracting issues. Her roles included interaction with and support of DCAA and DCMA audits particularly within the accounting system and invoicing function (WAWF voucher examinations). Her diverse knowledge of accounting functions and best practices for compliance success, coupled with her diligence and attention to detail provides an excellent resource for many of our clients.
