Tabitha Wells is an Analyst in Redstone GCI’s Collaborative Accounting Solutions Group. She provides day-to-day accounting support for government contractors, including transactional processing, reporting, and system-specific assistance. Tabitha brings a strong foundation in both accounting principles and client service, offering a practical, detail-oriented approach that helps ensure our clients maintain accurate financial records and meet their reporting requirements. Her familiarity with platforms like QuickBooks and Unanet further strengthens her ability to support Redstone GCI’s clients with system-based accounting needs.
Professional Experience
Tabitha began her accounting career in the human resources consulting industry, where she supported the accounting function for multiple clients across both commercial and government contracting sectors. In this role, she developed a well-rounded skill set that included general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting. She also gained hands-on experience in cloud-based accounting systems and worked closely with clients to address questions, clarify processes, and ensure accurate data entry.
She later served as a Senior Compliance Coordinator, supporting forensic accounting and audit efforts. This role sharpened her attention to detail and deepened her understanding of accounting controls and compliance considerations with experience that translates well to Redstone’s government contractor clients.
Tabitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her background in traditional accounting and compliance support positions her as a valuable resource for clients navigating the accounting requirements unique to government contracts.
