RCGI-Mary Beth Jackson Joins Redstone GCI as a Director Press Release

It is with great honor that we announce the addition of Mary Beth Jackson to our team as a Government Contract Compliance Director. Mary Beth joins Redstone GCI after an over 30-year career working in the government contracting industry with both the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and accounting and IT leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies. At the start of her career with DCAA, Mary Beth conducted internal control audits related to what is now known as the DFARS Business Systems, as well as more traditional audits pertaining to incurred cost, proposals, proposal pricing and estimating, and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), including cost impact proposals and disclosure statement reviews. Following her tenure with DCAA, Mary Beth served in various roles at a large Fortune 500 company from Compliance Manager to Director of IT Governance where she was able to utilize her background gained at DCAA to spearhead process improvements to eliminate deficiencies with the material management system (MMAS), estimating system, general accounting system and cost accounting standard compliance. Within her Director of IT Governance role, she was also responsible for managing the control framework to ensure the company’s compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX). Most recently, Mary Beth served as the Enterprise Controller for a major aerospace and defense contractor where she was responsible for all corporate financial reporting and government compliance. While in this role, Mary Beth designed and managed the implementation of accounting policies and procedures, established and maintained a compliant internal control environment with cognizance for all business system areas and was instrumental in company’s acquisition activities. Mary Beth’s diverse range of experience provides a unique perspective for our clients and allows her to objectively view unique challenges our clients face from the lens of both the government auditor and the contractor. We are excited to be adding such a well-rounded leader to our team and look forward to utilizing her wealth of knowledge in support of our clients.
