We are excited to announce the Redstone GCI Costpoint team will be a participant with the Deltek Costpoint 8.1 Early Adopter program. This means our team will have early access to see and test the new enhancements to be released with CP Version 8.1. The 8.1 release for on-premise customers will occur around the first of September. Cloud hosted customers will be upgraded during the first quarter of 2022.
The Redstone GCI CP team will focus our testing on the enhancements within the Contracts, T&E, Planning and Business Intelligence modules. The T&E module has an impressive lineup of enhancements including automatic overtime calculation, elimination of UDTs file integration processes, subcontractor mobile app support, offline time entry and voice interactive time entry. Other modules will include enhanced P&L reporting, a worksheet for standard bills (perhaps this will resemble the GCS billing worksheet which included unbilled info), Planning earned value calculations and total budgets, enhanced contracts activities and extensive Business Intelligence Smart AI.
We look forward to being a participant with the CP Early Adopter Program so we are equipped with the knowledge to support our Costpoint customers as new features are rolled out.
