Rachel Smith is a Director of Client Relations and brings over 14-years of experience and communications expertise to our team. She is an experienced relationship builder and holds several leadership positions within the community promoting education, training, and family assistance programs. She is known for her ability to organize meaningful and successful events for much-needed causes. Her network runs deep in Huntsville and is what has created immense success and growth within various companies and industries.

Professional Experience

Rachel is a seasoned sales and B2B professional with 14+ years of progressively challenging roles in management, commercial and government sales, and business development. Rachel has extensive experience in Communications, IT, Data Storage, and ERP Software environments. Rachel is adept at cultivating communities, strengthening communications, and identifying opportunities amongst various stakeholders to create sustainable outcomes.

Rachel has supported company initiatives at various Fortune 500 companies. As a Senior Business Account Executive in telecommunications, Rachel experienced the full scope of business development from capture to design to deployment. Over her career, she has consistently provided solutions to exceed expectations and to fulfill KPI requirements. After her tenure in communications, Rachel migrated to data storage as a Director of Business Development. In her role prior to joining Redstone, Rachel worked for a data and software solutions provider company that supported the government contractor market and oversaw 1900+ national accounts. Her varied experience in working in communications, government contracting software, and in roles at various levels of management and in business development, provides a unique set of talents in developing higher level relationships that exceed all stakeholders’ expectations.

Rachel’s role at Redstone GCI will focus on building meaningful relationships with our existing and new clients to ensure delivery of services and products to our standards.  Rachel’s role will be integrated into our existing consulting services model and will provide an additional means of feedback and communication to the wider Redstone GCI team.  Additionally, Rachel will lead our development of future products, training curriculums and support the Redstone GCI brand with local customers, as well as those based in other markets.
